The renewable energy industry has exponentially grown in the last few years with many Large-Scale Solar and Wind Projects leading the way forward.

The development of these large-scale projects will continue to happen, but aligned with the increase of the expansion of the HV transmission infrastructure, adding some risks to the process.This type of projects has been the desired choice for many developers and investors until recent years, but since the injection on renewable energy grew at such unexpected rate, the Transmission Network infrastructure failed to catch up and started to put strong limitations on the development of new Large Scale renewable projects.

In this context, at G8 Energy Group we want to keep pushing renewables forward, but at the same time help the local distribution systems with the conditions to provideaffordable and reliable renewable energy to the customers. That is why we develop Solar projects coupled with Batteries Storage Systems at a suitable size to the Distribution Grid, closer to point of consumption and improving the security and reliability of the network they are connected.

This strategy allows us to avoid most of the major risk involved in the development and construction of Large-Scale Renewable Power Plants and makes our projects more attractive to the local communities, market and investors.

Mechanical Installation

Strong capabilities in all aspects of tracker and PV Module Installation, in addition to the material distribution logistics. We are capable of executing and managing the construction from the drilling of the first pile of the project to the installation of the last PV module.

Civil Works

We can execute all the civil workg involved in the Solar Farm construction, we provide our clients combined solutions in all aspects associated with the civil works.

Commissioning, Operation & Maintainance

We have the knowledge and experience in the commissioning and the energisation of the facilities in coordination with the client. Our company in responsible for the maintenance and operation of some of the biggest solar farms in Qld.

Quality Assurance & Quality Control

We provide QA/QC services to supervise and measure the quality of the construction from the beginning to end, ensuring that the prhgress is aligned with the expectations of the client.

Labour Hire & Outplacement Solutions

In order to offer a complete service package to our clients we also provide labour hire and outplaeement solutions. We recruit local workers with the right skills for the right job.

The Process of Leasing Your Property for Solar

The Solar project development process starts by the identification of adequate sites for the development of the project, which need to be in full compliance with the communities and Councils conditions. G8.will work with you to select the right location on your land and plan the solar farm to minimise the impacts related to the use of the properties, along with negotiation of the lease terms. Then, we begin our development and permitting of the site and regularly update you on the advance of the development’s milestones.

G8 performs feasibility studies and, if project feasible, develop site plan.
Execute Agreement to Lease.
We obtain Council Approval and Network Connection Agreement.
Once project approved, we execute Formal Lease Contract.
G8 Builds the Project and connect it to the grid.
